Outcomes2010 EMPLOYMENT SERVICES Sycamore experienced a 20% increase in persons referred for employment services in 2010. Though challenged by an increased number of job seekers and a slow economy in 2010, Sycamore Employment Consultants worked with consumers to overcome the challenges presented and completed employment plans for 176 individuals. Sycamore Employment Consultants then assisted 102 individuals to locate community based employment. Of those placed, 91 remained on the job for at least 30 days and 80 of those remained working and were successfully transitioned from supported services. Our 2010 objective was to place 85% of persons referred to us and we actually placed 89%. Of the persons placed, 78% went on to successful closure, exceeding our 75% expectation for 2010. Individuals placed earned an average hourly wage of $8.21 and the average work week was 21.25 hours. Using these figures, we can estimate that the 102 individuals placed working an average of 21.25 hours a week would have put in 2,167.5 hours of productive employment. Using the avergage hourly rate, these individuals would be earning $17,795 per week or $925,349 per year.
