2008 RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Sycamore Services has developed programs to support individuals as they learn to become independent in a home environment.  Some recipients receive services while still living with parents or family members while others are supported in their own residence. 

Residential services may include ~
~ Budgeting and financial training and assistance
~ Coordination of medical services
~ Medication administration
~ Health & safety training
~ Planning and preparing nutritious meals
~ Care and maintenance of personal belongings and residence
~ 24/7 On-call system

Sycamore utilizes Person Centered Planning to identify services that will promote an active and full life for each individual.

In 2008, Sycamore Direct Service Professionals provided residential services to 37 individuals.  Eleven (11) service recipients lived with parents or family members.  The remaining 15 lived either in their own home or apartment, or in a home owned by Sycamore Services.  Homes may be owned or rented and may include one or more roommates.
