We are excited to celebrate a major professional milestone for Diana Wolfe, who officially completed the American Sign Language and Deaf Studies Certification Program through Vincennes University in December 2025.

This accomplishment represents approximately 18 months of dedication and hard work, all while Diana continued to successfully manage her current job responsibilities. She completed the program with support from Sycamore Services’ Training and Tuition Reimbursement Program, demonstrating both personal initiative and a strong commitment to professional growth.

Diana pursued this certification after recognizing a need to better serve the individuals she supports. Throughout the program, she immersed herself in Deaf Culture, gaining valuable insight into communication barriers, lived experiences, and more inclusive ways to connect and support others.

As Diana shared:

“This program has been especially meaningful to me because of my own hearing loss and challenges.”

With her new certification, Diana is now able to support more individuals in her role as an Employment Consultant, including assisting with job searches and training without the need for additional interpreters. This not only expands access for those we serve but also strengthens Sycamore’s commitment to inclusion and independence.

We are incredibly proud of Diana’s achievement and grateful for the passion and perspective she brings to her work every day. Please join us in congratulating her on this outstanding accomplishment!

Great job, Diana!
