Providing Relief for Caregivers

Our Respite Services offer individually tailored care for individuals with disabilities, giving primary caregivers the opportunity to rest and attend to personal or family needs.

Service Overview:

• Personalized Care: Trained Direct Support Professionals deliver respite care, allowing caregivers to maintain their regular activities while receiving a much-needed break.

• Flexible Scheduling: Respite services are scheduled by the hour and are typically provided in the recipient’s home. With family and Respite Coordinator approval, services may also be delivered at alternative locations.

• Coordination: Respite Services are managed through our Danville, Indiana office. We accept referrals from Boone, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Morgan, Putnam, Vanderburgh, and other counties in Indiana.

Funding and Payment:

• Medicaid Waivers: Respite services are available through Medicaid Waivers including the Traumatic Brain Injury Waivers, Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH), and Family Support Waivers (FSW). Respite can be added to waiver budgets with approval from case managers after consultations with the family, recipient, and Sycamore’s Respite Coordinator.

• Private Pay: Private pay options are also available.
