We provide volunteer opportunities which focus on a variety of job skills and employment possibilities. At the same time, we help our local business community grow. For decades, our Work Center has provided solutions to businesses who are looking to reduce recruitment, training, and overtime costs on certain projects. We provide businesses with a valuable, dependable labor pool. Our supervised Work Center setting allows people with different abilities to learn skills while they earn an income. Contracts from different vendors provide work for persons with varying degrees of ability and can include tasks such as: Counting Sorting Assembly/Disassembly Following 1 to multi step direction Cleaning/Housekeeping Teamwork Mail Preparation (including folding, stuffing and labeling) Document Shredding and more! Behavior Management At Sycamore Services, our Behavior Support Services are designed to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving success in their community, school, or work environments. We aim to help participants reach their full potential by addressing and replacing behaviors that limit their opportunities with positive actions that enhance their success. Our Services Include: Thorough Behavior Assessment: Conducting a comprehensive analysis to identify and understand problem behaviors. Behavior Support Plan (BSP) Development: Creating tailored plans that address target behaviors and suggest positive replacement behaviors. Direct Work with Consumers: Implementing BSP goals through hands-on support. Training for Staff and Caregivers: Educating those who work with our consumers to ensure effective implementation of BSP goals. Direct Observations: Monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to BSP goals. Data Tracking Systems: Collecting and analyzing data on target and replacement behaviors. Psychiatric Coordination: Providing information to psychiatrists and attending appointments (when applicable) to evaluate medication effectiveness.
